You will only need to register for a free account if you wish to add your own images of ham radio shacks, antenna farms, QSL cards or DXpeditions. No account s necessary for those just wanting to look around, so if you only want to look then click on the "Photos" link in the header of this page and have fun.

There are two features of the photo album that will allow you to personalize it to suit your needs, themes and language (whether you register or not).

Themes - The overall appearance of the photo album can be altered to fit your preference and is especially helpful to those that have vision concerns with differing combinations of colors. Simply locate the pull down list that has "Choose a theme" in the list and choose which theme suits you best. We have tried to include not only the best styles but the themes that offer different contrasts, again for those needing them.

Language - Locate the set of national flags icons (generally at the bottom of the page, depending upon the theme in use) and click on the one you desire to use. Please take note that the language option only affects the buttons and some of the links on the pages, you can not translate the information used in the image descriptions.

If you do wish to add your images then you will need to sign up for an account, it's free and fairly straight forward. Just click on the "Photos" link up in the header and you will be taken to the photo album, once you are there you will need to locate the home icon in the shape of a house. As you hover your mouse over the house icon you will notice several links pop-up, one is for registering and the other is for logging in once you sign up for your free account.

First off, no information you enter into the registration form will be used or abused. We run a web hosting company and do not have a need to make money off of those using this web site (with the exception of Google AdSense® advertising or other such advertising from amateur radio vendors. We value our privacy just as mush as yours, besides their ain;t enough money in selling email addresses to make it worth one's time in collecting them and selling them.

Once you sign up you will receive an email to confirm your sign-up information, sorry about this but spammers lover scripts such as this and do what they can to splatter their junk into everyone's web site. Most all sites are using this type of confirmation process to try to evade the spammers, just remember that your information will not be made available to outside parties.

Now that you are registered, you can login. Once you're logged in then you go to the house icon and you will see a link for uploading your images and the necessary information. As far as the info goes you need only to put what you want to enter, there isn't a minimum. Best practice is to use and appropriate title for the image and then a description as short or long as you feel is necessary.

Here's a quick run down of uploading images:

1. Login.
2. Click on the upload images link.
3. You will only be able to batch upload 5 images at a time, but you can upload more than one batches.
4. Once the images are uploaded you will then be prompted for the images information
5. Once you are done with the information you will be able to upload more images.
6. Once you are done then simply log off.
